Altuza was formed by Colorado chef Garrett Safir, we are a private dining and boutique catering company rooted in a love for elevated cuisine and locally sourced ingredients. Garrett grew up in New Jersey, and eventually found himself drawn to Colorado, where his passion for food deepened while cooking and living across the state. After years of honing his craft in kitchens both rustic and refined, he decided it was time to bring his dream to life: a private fine dining experience in farm-to-table concept. Cooking became more than a career — it became a purpose and a drive. With over 15 years of professional culinary experience across fine dining restaurants, High end catering, and intimate private events, Garrett brings a refined yet approachable vision to every dish.
At the heart of Altuza, we have a commitment to building real relationships with the farmers, butchers, beekeepers, and artisans who shape the areas vibrant local food community. Every dish reflects a deep respect for the ingredients, the land, and the people behind it.
